Abstract :
The article is devoted to the economic reform of the features of the food market in conditions of transition economy. After all, the provision of food to the population - is the main and strategic task for any state. The analysis of the implementation of the identified problems of the underdeveloped market infrastructure, defined mechanisms for regulation of the food market, the processes of formation of a modern market economy, changing the structure of the food market. Shows the evolution of the domestic market of food products, support and protection of domestic producers, which should be the priority policy of the state
