Abstract :SüleymanDemirel Üniversitesi TIP FAKÜLTESİ DERGİSİ: 1996 Aralık; 3(4) Sigara İçen ve İçmeyen Sağlıklı Kişilerde Eritrosit Lipid Peroksidi, Hemoglobin veHematokrit Düzeyleri Süleyman Kaleli Mahmut Ay Osman Çağlayan Hüseyin Vural Mehmet Aköz Özet Sigara içmeyen 30 ve en az 2 O yıldır günde 20 tane ve üzerinde sigara içen 30 olmak üzere toplam 60 yetişkin erkekte eritrosit lipidperoksidi, hemoglobin (Hb) ve hematokrit (Htc) düzeyleri ölçüldü. Sırasıyla lipid peroksidi değerleri (].17±0.49)-(1.61±0.75) nmol/ml eritrosit, Hb değerleri (11.88^1.39)-(10.08^1.05) gr/dl, Htc değerleri % (36.17±3.68)-(33.49±3.19) olarak bulundu. İstatistiksel analiz sonucu sigara içiminin eritrosit lipid peroksidasyonunu anlamlı ölçüde artırdığı (p<0.01), Hb ve Htc değerlerini ise azalttığı (p<0.05, p<0.01) gözlenmiştir. Anahtar Kelimeler: Sigara, eritrosit lipidperoksidasyonu, Hemoglobin, Hematokrit. Abstract Analysis of Erythrocyte Lipid Peroxide, Hemoglobin and Hematocrit Levels in Healthy Smokers and Non-Smokers in this study, erythrocyte lipid permde, hemoglobin (Hb) and hematocrit (Htc) levels were analysed in 30 healthy non smoker and 30 smoker male who have smokedfor över 10 years (20 cigarettes ör mor el doy). The levels of lipid peroxide, Hb and Htc werefound to be (1.17±.0.49)-(1.61±0.75) nmoUml erythrocyte, (1L88±1.39)-(10.08±1.05) gr/dl and(36.17±3.68)-(33.49±3.19) %, respectively. Statistical analysis shovved that the level of lipid peroxide wasfound to be increased in smoker group (p<0.01). in contrast, Hb and Htc levels were notedîo be decreased (p<0.01 andp<0.05 respectively). Key Words: Cigarette, erythrocyte lipidperoxide, Hemoglobin, HematocritKeywords :
