Abstract :Sufyân b. Uyayna (107-198/725-813) was a Maccan muhaddith. He was atbâu’t-tâbiîn and he lived in the time that the hadiths are collected and classified. Sufyân b. Uyayna is accepted trusworty (siqa) reporter by other muhaddith. In his life, Sufyân b. Uyayna, was meet with wellknown muhaddiths like Ibn Şihâb al-Zuhrî and Amr b. Dînâr. He has same books about hadith. One of them is colled "Cuz”.There are fifty hadith in the Cuz from his 28 theachers which subjects of them are different. Generally of these hadiths have short chain. Among them there are oral (kavlî), practically (fiilî), marfû, mavkûf. This specialities are important for interpretation the earlier times of science of hadith.
