Abstract :The coronavirus assumed to have originated in Wuhan China, has infected millions of people since December 2019, resulting in a pandemic. Recent changes in symptoms are observed in Covid-19 positive patients, whose symptoms were reported as fever, myalgia and cough in the earlier cases. In this paper we presented two cases where the initial symptom was loss of taste and smell sensation. Both of these patients were diagnosed pneumonia though neither of them had cough nor fever.Considering the positive outcomes with medical treatment, we claim these patients with the only symptom, loss of smell and taste, should be tested for Covid-19.Keywords : covid-19, pandemic, olfactory dysfunction, taste dysfunction
