Abstract :Introduction: Although there are many studies on delivery methods that were conducted in Turkey, the reasons for preferring the normal method of delivery normal vaginal delivery NVD have not been discussed in a detailed and standard way yet.Aim: This study was carried out in order to determine what women share on social media regarding the normal delivery action normal vaginal delivery NVD and to answer the question: how do they share it?Method: The study, which is in the form of a qualitative study, is a cross-sectional descriptive type of study, and the inductive method was used in the analysis of the data. 403 messages that fit the research criteria made up the sample of the study. The frequency distribution was made on a code list determined by examining the content of the messages one-by-one.Findings: According to the research findings, it was determined that approximately half of the users wrote messages containing requests for information-help and viewed the "Delivery stories” forum. Additionally, the "Fear of delivery” was among the top three viewed messages. Upon examining the findings of the study, it was determined that messages with fear of pain content were in the second place.Conclusion: Upon examining the findings of the study, it was observed that messages with fear of pain content were in the second place, and in the third place among the most viewed messages.Suggestions: Midwives can actively reach the young potential/future mothers in specific by using webpages with social content and answer their requests for information, help on labour and fear of birth pain as professionals in their fieldKeywords : Women, labor pain, fear, labor
