Abstract :With the widespread use of non-invasive diagnostic tools, such as abdominal ultrasound and computerized tomography, renal cysts are diagnosed with increasing frequency. Bosniak suggested a classifi cation in an attempt to sort out the diff erent cases into nonsurgical type I and type II , and surgical ones type III and type IV . Diff erential diagnosis of cyctic lesions type II and III is not easy to perform.. Spontaneous regression of renal cysts is a rare phenomenon. We report a 21 years old female patient with Bosniak type III cyst and discuss its regression and diagnostic tools to evaluate suspicious renal cystic lesions
