Abstract :Purpose:This research was carried out to examine the perceptions of nursing students about nursing care and their views related to factors affecting care. Patients and Methods:The sample of this descriptive research comprised 142 students who were educated in the nursing department of a university during the 2019-2020 academic year and who agreed to participate in the research. The data were collected by the "Introductory Characteristics Form” and the "Caring Behaviors Inventory-30”. Frequencies, descriptive statistics, Mann Whitney U, and Kruskal Wallis were used to analyze the data. Results:The average age of the students who participated in the research was 20.80±1,839, 56.3% were female and 59.9% were graduated of Anatolian High School. The mean score of the students on the CBI-30 scale was 150.79±21.81. It was determined that there were statistically significant differences between the students\\\' gender and the classes they educated and the CBI-30 Scale score averages. Conclusion:In this research, it was determined that there were significant differences in the perception of nursing care behaviors and gender in the nursing education process of the students. It is recommended that the philosophy and importance of nursing care should be transferred from first grade onwards and free from sexist approach.
