Abstract :In this unpublished Latin fragment (which dates from May 1702) G. W. Leibniz criticizes the Cartesian conception of body and force and develops his own notion of matter, extension and his theory of forces. He argues against Descartes and Cartesians that 1) the essence of corporal bodies cannot be reduced to extension alone but the latter arise from the primitive force itself, 2) consequently Cartesian quantity of motion falls short to account the motive force of a moving body since the true the nature of physical bodies which can only be understood through a careful analysis of dynamical forces. Keywords : Descartes, Leibniz, dinamik, kuvvet, madde
