Abstract :The subject of this article constitutes the study of eight works achieved to Aydın Museum by purchasing on different dates. Having been accepted as one of the oldest settlement centers of Anatolia, Tralleis seems prominent due to its long historical background and its geography. Especially the second century B.C. and later was a successful era for Tralleis as for the other Greek cities and important sculptures activities were carried out in the city. Tralleis, represents a rich heritage not only with its portraits but also with its sculptural workmanship. The portraits that we have studied here are important from the point of giving information about sculptural workmanship, although most of them are simple in quality and typology compared with the samples brought to European museums. Keywords :
