Abstract :Up to now, a lot of articles have been written about the Ibn Wahshiyya's work on alphabet used by Kurds. We wil include the mistakes made in Kadri Yıldırım and Ergin Öpengin's articles. Yıldırım in an article says: p, ç, j, and g that are not in Arabic alphabet and ğ letter that is not found in Bedirxan's alphabet, and two k, ç, û, and p are also in this alphabet. Again Yıldırım says: no nation other than the Kurds has used this alphabet and continues: Binu Shad and Masisurati are two Kurdish tribes. Öpengin, in an article, says: I will reveal some errors about the Kurdish alphabet in Hammer's translation. But some mistakes were made in the translation of hammer. Öpengin has fallen into the same mistake because he did not see the original of this work. In this article, in order to correct these mistakes made, we will have some transfers from the work of Ibn Wahsiyya then we will try to reveal the essence of the matter. Keywords : Ibn Wahsiyya, Kurdish alphabet, translation mistakes
