Abstract :A long chain ketone (crassifone), a pentacyclic triterpenoid coupled with fatty acid moiety (crassifoate), and an acyclic diterpenoid (crassifol) have been isolated from the ethanol soluble part of Nepeta crassifolia (Lamiaceae) collected from Kangavar, Iran. Structures of all the metabolites were elucidated with the aid of spectroscopic techniques, including 2D NMR experiments.
