Abstract :In this study; the aim is to examine the ability of science teacher candidates to create, read, understand and interpret line graphs. The sample of the study consists of 50 students who are studying in the second year of science education department of Kırıkkale University Faculty of Education. The pattern of the study is a mixed method including non-interactive qualitative research, which includes document-based data collection and analysis. The data were obtained by a simple test results and interview method. In the conclusion part of the study, for many reasons, it is seen that students look prejudicial to drawing graphics, lack of laboratory conditions, their indifference towards laboratories, lack of graphics in secondary education etc. For many reasons, the result is that the graphics drawing skills develop very little. The most common shortcomings are; determining the starting point of the graph, scaling the axes, merging the values, writing the units of the concepts in the axes and understanding and interpreting the graphs. Therefore, in this study, it is aimed to provide the most efficient use of graphical drawing and interpretation which is very important in the teaching and learning of science courses, recommendations have been made for developing graphics drawing skills and minimizing problems. Keywords : Science Education, Physics education, Graphic drawing, Skill
