Abstract :The thing managers should consider important when they run a new business is market research. For this reason managers must pay attention some criterions. These are fıve C’s of market research (concept, criticism, competition, credibility, common interest). Every business venture starts with an idea. Any idea can be turned into profîtable, home-based business. It doesn’t necessarily have to be a " new invention " or a new idea. However to be successful the business should exceed customers’ expectations. To increase credibility, managers should become more involved with community. Networking is free and could provide the most valuable exposure for managers and their companies.Keywords : pazar, araştırma
