Abstract :Ibn Ishak who died in 151, was one of atTabiîn. He is author of the earliest known of the Prophet. Every yvriting after him has depended on his work, which tough lost in its entireiy, has been immortalized in wonderful, extant abridgement of it by Ibn Hişam. His Sirah of the Prophet, exists only in the recension of Ibn Hişam. The lost pioneering work of Ibn Ishak is believed to have three parts: a) elMübtede’; The fîrst being devoted of the history pre-Islamic arabic and the universal history of man. b) el-Meb’as; The second to the mission of the Prophet. c) el-Meğazî; The third to his military.adrninistrative andpolitical actions.Keywords : İbn İshak, Hayatı
