Abstract :Religious exclusivism is a philosophical/theological approach that defends the claims of one own religious tradition as being correct, while the claims of other traditions are wrong. In modern philosophy of religion one of the most fervid and original defenders of this approach is Alvin Plantinga. The most important characteristic that makes Pantinga’s approach unique is his epistemological theory, called suitability-functionality, which he developed as an alternative concept to traditional definition of knowledge justified, correct belief . In this article, after making a detailed examination of this thinker’s defense of religious exclusivim, I will try to establish the epistemological and moral values of the ability to make the defense in question by investigating its conceptual coherence based on suitability-functionality in the framework of multiple religionsKeywords : multiple religions, religious exclusivity, suitability-functionality, evidential
