İlk anket ulusal çalıştaya katılan 149 öğretmene uygulanmış ve 5’i açık uçlu soru toplam 30 sorudan oluşmaktadır. İkinci anket uluslararası çalıştaya katılan dört öğretmene uygulanmış 20 açık uçlu soru toplamda 28 sorudan oluşmaktadır. Son anket sadece 36 öğretmene uygulanmış 18 açık uçlu sorudan oluşmaktadır. Okul dışı öğrenme ortamlarının bireylerin bilime ve bilimsel bilgiye yönelik bakış açısına olumlu bir katkı sağladığı, aktif öğrenme sürecini desteklediği, çalışma süresince yapılan bilimsel etkinliklerin, derslerin, gezilerin gelecekte bilim adına yapılmak istenilenleri ifade etmede yol gösterici, bilimsel bilgi kazanımında etkili olduğu görülmüştür. The aim of present study is to reveal the opinions of teachers, who participated in CERN National and International teacher programs, about the programs, how effects these programs have on the learners, and which achievements they gained. Understanding the positive and negative aspects of CERN programs and providing information about the educational programs and scientific studies carried out in CERN are also within the scope of this study. STEM education is defined as teaching the science, mathematics, engineering, and technology by an interdisciplinary method that is supported with researching- and questioning-based activities. The teachers can observe a successful implementation of STEM in the CERN that is an out-of-school learning environment. In the present study, the data were collected by conducting three different questionnaires. The first questionnaire was conducted on 149 teachers, who participated in the national workshop, and it consisted of totally 30 items, 5 of which were open-ended questions. The second questionnaire was conducted on 4 teachers, who participated in international workshop, and it consisted of totally 28 items, 20 of which were open-ended questions. The last questionnaire was conducted on only 36 teachers and it consisted of 18 open-ended questions. It was observed that the out-of-school learning environments positively contributed to the individuals’ perspective on science and scientific knowledge, that it supports the active learning process, and that the scientific activities, courses, and tours during the study played effective role in achieving the scientific knowledge and guiding role in expressing the future plans on science. Keywords : CERN, Öğretmen Çalıştayları, Öğretmen Eğitimi, En Büyük Parçacık Hızlandırıcı Laboratuarı, Okul Dışı Öğrenme, Disiplinlerarası İşbirliği, STEM, Aktif Öğrenme
