Abstract :The text describes a complex story of ten-year gap between the recent liberators and the liberated. In this dramatic story associated with unauthorized, without the permission of Russia, the reunification of the Bulgarian Principality with Eastern Rumelia (southern Bulgaria) played a significant role factor, on the one hand, Imperial and Slavic, on the other – national, connected with the search of liberation from his terrible guardian, does not allow to recognize the great powers of the new Prince of the family of Coburg.
