Abstract :The paper considers the elastostatic axisymmetric problem for long nested thick-walled cylinders with two different crack cases under uniform axial load according to the theory of elasticity. Both of cylinders have different elastic constants. Using the Fourier and Hankel transform techniques, the problem is formulated in terms of an integral equation which has a simple Cauchy kernel. The singular integral equation is solved numerically. Some results for the stress intensity factors are presented graphically.Keywords : Crack, Integral transform technique, Singular integral equation, Stress-intensity factor
