Abstract :Fruits present safe and healthy nutrition in the human diet. They are rich sources of certain macro and micronutrients. Environmental factors such as temperature, rainfall, sunshine, wind, soil and many other growing conditions effects chemical composition of the berries. The present study was conducted to investigate 24 grape cultivars from the Mid-Black Sea zone in terms of berry mineral composition. Analysis was performed according to official methods procedure and the contents of Phosphorus (P), Calcium (Ca), Magnesium (Mg), Manganese (Mn), Iron (Fe), Copper (Cu), Zinc (Zn), Boron (B) and Selenium (Se) were determined by ICP-OES (Inductively Coupled Plasma Optical Emission Spectroscopy) and Potassium (K) was measured by AAS (Atomic absorption spectroscopy). The results indicated that the mineral composition of grapes differ according to genotype. Keywords : Grape, mineral nutrients, Vitis vinifera L., cultivar
