Abstract :The demands for tool attributes are evolving along with the industrial sector\'s concentration on the use of innovative, lightweight, high-strength materials. Tools with exceptional wear resistance are in greater demand. High contact pressures paired with high temperatures can harm many types of tools and molds used in hot metal forming. Wear and fatigue damage is the most serious type. This research looked at the wear life of two hot work tool steels commonly used in the industry—DIN 1.2344 and Dörrenberg\'s proprietary WP7V grade hot work tool steel. Under identical circumstances, samples were made from heat-treated 1.2344 and WP7V hot work tool steels. Pin-on-disc wear tests were performed from 25°C to 400°C in a dry atmosphere at 300rpm under a 20 N force load using 6 mm diameter 100Cr6 steel balls. The outcomes of the evaluated materials\' wear tests were contrasted. Keywords : DIN 1.2344, WP7V, Aşınma Davranışı, Isıl İşlem, Sertlik, Mikroyapı
