Abstract :Abstract. Supercooled water can remain in liquid state at the temperatures below zero and needs catalysts for changing from liquid to solid state, and accumulation of water molecules causes nucleation and creates ice embryo. Then, other molecules are attached to this core and will make ice crystals "visible”. These catalysts may be inorganic materials, bacteria and/or fungal spores. In this review article, bacteria such as P. Syringae have been studied in ice nucleation process and their industerial applications. Keywords : Supercooled Water, Catalysts, Ice nucleation, Ice Crystals, P. Syringae
