Abstract :This study aims to determine the priority areas of the province for the biodiversity of Isparta and to introduce them in various aspects. Most of the results are the result of field studies carried out within the borders of Isparta province since 1994. 19 important plant areas were identified. These areas are also of high importance in terms of biodiversity and ecologically featured. 8 areas of them are officially known and protected, others do not have conservation status. 19 priority areas almost cover almost 20% of areas of the province. National parks, Nature Parks and Nature Protection Areas (Kızıldağ Nationa Park, Kovada Lake Nationa Park, Kasnak Oak NPA), Sığla Forest NPA, etc., Gölcük Gölü NP, Ayazmana Kestane Community, Kısık Boğazı in Atabey; Aksu Valley, the vicinity of Yaka Stream, Çayır and Anamas plateaus, Gene Conservation and Seed stand areas in Aksu; Sanlı/Sarıçiçek Plateau, Kesme village vicinity, Yaylabel (Kartoz), Yuvalı mountain side, Tota mountain, around Sığırlık Castles, Yazılı Canyon Nature Park in Sütçüler; between districts of Senirkent-Uluborlu and Eğirdir and vicinity of Eğirdir Lake district, Barla mountain; In conservation, clear area boundaries should be clarified, and sustainable management plans should be prepared by taking into account the expectations of local people.Keywords : Rare and endemic, Isparta-Türkiye, Ecology, Economic plant, Important plant areas, Biodiversity conservation, Gene centers
