Abstract :The primary objective of this research is to examine the connection between social support and the sensation of being trapped among responsible individuals enrolled in the probation system. The study adopts a descriptive design and involves a sample size of 169 adult males. Data collection for this investigation utilizes three tools: the Sociodemographic Information Form, the Multidimensional Scale of Perceived Social Support (MSPSS), and the Entrapment Scale (ES).The age of the participants was 32.04±7.9 years, 32.0% were primary school graduates, and 78.7% were married. The study founded a statistically significant negative weak relationship (p<0.05) between MSPSS and ES factors reported by participants. Through simple linear regression analysis, a significant correlation (R=.425, R2=.180, p<0.001) was detected between the sociodemographic characteristics of participants and their MSPSS scores. It was found that sociodemographic characteristics of participants did not affect their levels of entrapment. The research findings established an inverse correlation between the degree of perceived social support and the level of entrapment experienced. Keywords : Denetimli serbestlik, sosyal destek, sıkışmışlık hissetme düşme, halk sağlığı hemşiresi.
