Abstract :There has been a continuous social change in Turkey since the Reorganization Perio). With the Reorganization Edict, the Ottoman turned its face to the West with many modernization movements. The revolution staff which appeared in the continuation of the Young Turk movement that tried to save the Ottoman Empire and with the power of historical accumulation, established a new state. As in every revolution that started to build a nation-state in the world, Turkish Revolution gave a special importance to Language, History and Education while carrying out building nation-state. Nation states, which are the product of political and bureaucratic interventions, has tended to create ther own languages as a result of their institutionalization. Especially as specifying the Turkish identity, the language phenomenon which defines "us” and differentiates "other” has had great importance for Turkey. At the same time, Language in providing nation integration contributed to the social and political participation of individuals as citizens. In the 1930-1938 period, the Revolutionary staff produced policies for the field of language and gave great importance. In the reflection of these policies, the Turkish Language Association, the First, Second and Third Turkish Language Congresses appear as important activities.Keywords : Turkish Revolution, Nation Sate, Language
