Abstract :One of the conditions for obtaining functional, sustainable and unique environments in national building stock is optimization of working regulations of executing actors. Factors such as social, political, scientific, socio-cultural, economic, technological have varying specific influences on each architectural design, stemming from the distinctions between public and private sectors, laws and budget planning. In this context, the research focuses on identification and discussion of effectiveness of executing actors on the spatial and formal values of architectural designs realized in the natural environment. The working volumes of executing actors are examined through various gates of university campuses, which are rapidly increasing in our country. It is believed that these masses have inputs that facilitate the understanding of the dynamics of the actors involved in the architectural planning process. Because gates create an interface that has the potential to be influenced by architectural qualities related to both the interior and exterior spaces (university campus and the city) and in terms of representing the power of \"place\" or \"institution\", they distinguish themselves from the stock of higher education buildings. The experimental content includes methods such as conducting observations and examinations, documenting the current state through photography and studying objectives of designers, expectations of employers and architectural projects. As a result of the research, the dominance of employer-centered production models has been documented and it has been determined that when the boundaries of action patterns related to the employers are not defined, the working capacities of executive actors, particularly architects, are limited. It has been observed that this situation leads to problems such as i) Loss of design integrity, ii) Weakening of functional relationships, iii) Lack of identity, and iv) Imitation. Keywords : University Campus Gates, Architectural design process, Architect
