Abstract :This paper deals with Mela Mahmudi Bazidi’s book "Conjugation of Kurdish Verbs” that was written in 1886 for teaching conjugation of verbs in kurmanji kurdish. Bazidi’s this study is one of the important studies as the others in Alexander Jaba’s collection. It is predominantly about the morphology of verb conjugation and includes more than twenty verb conjugations as examples. The verbs are conjugated in terms of personal pronouns, past, future, present tenses and their negative forms, imperative, active and passive voice etc. Although his study considerably consists of verb conjugations, a small part of it mentions the kurmanji syntax and the constituents of cluases. In this paper we analize both Bazidi’s language in which the book was writen and the topics that are mentioned in it.Keywords : Mala Mehmudi Bazidi, Alexander Jaba’s collection, kurmanji grammar, manuscript
