Abstract :Biotinylated analogs of drug candidates provide useful tools for studying the drug--target protein interactions. Polyhalogenated N,N'diarylureas are potent activators of adenosine monophosphate-activated kinase (AMPK) and potentially promising agents for the treatment of cancer. Various biotinylated versions of these N,N'-diarylureas were synthesized and evaluated in AMPK-activation studies. Keywords : Adenosine monophosphate-activated kinase, biotinylated N, N'-diarylureas
