Samples were taken from 6 different depths every three hours during a 24 hour period. 65 phytoplanktonic algae taxa belonging to Chlorophyta (26 taxa), Bacillariphyta (18 taxa), Euglenophyta (8 taxa), Charophyta (5 taxa), Cyanophyta (4 taxa), Miozoa (3 taxa) and Ochrophyta (1 taxa) were identified. Keywords : Phytoplankton, Daily vertical composition, Chlorophyll-a, Kadıköy Reservoir
