Abstract :This study was conducted within a controlled glasshouse in order to determine the reactions of wild wheat varieties in response to different boron (B) dosages. The experiments were laid out in a three factor completely randomized design, with 3 replications where 0, 2.5 and 10 mg kg-1 B treatments were evaluated. In our current study, tolerance potentials of Anatolian originated wild wheat varieties were handled and a high level of variation was determined in terms of B accumulation. Current scientific understanding denotes that genotypes more tolerant to excess B acquire and accumulate less B within their tissues. On this respect, from the wild wheat genetic resources, the D-genome progenitor Triticum tauschii harbours tolerance mechanism to support B-toxicity tolerance in bread wheat. This species is also known to be resistant against a number of different biotic and abiotic stresses. Keywords : Bor toksitesi, Yabani buğday, Buğday, Triticum tauschii
