Abstract :This study was carried out to determine the production possibilities of some hybrid sunflower cultivars under irrigat-ed conditions at one location in 2001 and at two locations in 2002, in Konya. The experiments were designed in a ran-domized complete block with three replications. In the study, significant differences were found between cultivars with respect to plant height, head diameter, thousand seed weight, hull ratio, seed yield, crude oil ratio and crude oil yield each year. According to the results obtained from this study, seed yield, crude oil ratio and crude oil yield were determined as 1999.0 – 3824.0 kg ha-1 (Gülay; Isera ), 34.4– 45.6 % (Turkuaz; Çoban) and 773.0 – 1645.0 kg ha-1 (Gülay; Çoban) in 2001, and this values were found as 2915.0- 3900.0 kg ha-1 (AS-6310; Tarsan-1018), 38.5-45.4 % (Tarsan-1018; AS-508), 1122.0-1662.0 kg ha-1 (AS-6310; Nantio) at first location, 3005.0-4053.0 kg ha-1 (AS-615; PR-64A-83), 35.2-46.0 % (Tarsan- 1018; TR-6149-SA) and 1326.0-1760.0 kg ha-1 (AS-615; TR-6149-SA) at second location in 2002, respectively. The present study suggests that higher seed yields may be achieved through the use of hybrid genotypes under the region’s irrigation conditions. Based on these 2 years’ data, it can be concluded that cultivars, Tarsan-1018, Sanbro, Nantio and TR-6149-SA had higher seed and oil yields. Keywords : Ayçiçeği, çeşit, verim, kalite
