Abstract :This research consists of determination and evaluation of physical (texture) and chemical properties (pH, salt, organic matter, lime, available P2O5 and K2O) of 571 soil samples taken from Kapidag Peninsula in 2006 year. Olive soils of Kapidag Peninsula are poor in respect of organic matter. On the other hand, pH values and lime rati-os were found as low and available P2O5 was found as high level. These soils have loamy and clay loamy texture. Economical structure of the peninsula based on olive production. Olive production for table consumption shows mono-culture agriculture structure in the peninsula. Olive production is performed in 55 % of Kapidag Peninsula Lands.
