Abstract :This study was carried out to determine the effects of some organic matters on the plant growth, yield and quality of three broccoli (Brassica oleracea L. var. italica) cultivars grown in Çumra district of Konya in 2004 summer season. As plant materials, ACN-055 (MENTOR) F1, ACN-085 (CARDINAL) F1 and ACN-120 F1 hybrid broccoli cultivars were used. As organic matters, chicken manure (50 tonnes/ha), cow manure (50 tonnes/ha), sheep manure (50 tonnes/ha), humic acid (3kg/ha), nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium (200kg N/ha, 200 kg P2O/ha, 200 kg K2O/ha) were applied. No manure were applied in control parcels. In the results, the mean head yield of ACN-085 F1, (45582 kg/ha) was higher than the other cultivars. The mean head yield of ACN-120 F1,(41998 kg/ha) and ACN-055 F1, (33536 kg/ha), followed this mean head yield. The effects to mean head and total yield of applications, cultivars x application interactions were not found statisticaly significant. The total yield of ACN-085 F1, (48150 kg/ha) was higher than total yields of the other cultivars. The total yields of ACN-120 F1 (41990 kg/ha),and ACN-055 F1 cultivars (38350 kg/ha) followed this result. Keywords : Brokkoli, çiftlik gübresi, humik asit, bitki gelişimi, verim, kalite
