Abstract :In this study, the efficacy of thiabendazole (140 g/L) + imazalil (100 g/L) and imazalil (75 g/L) was investigated against postharvest decays, caused by Penicillium digitatum and Botrytis cinerea, of Valencia citrus fruit. Three dosages of thiabendazole+imazalil, 300, 400 and 500 ml/100 L water and 500 ml/100L water of imazalil were included in the experiment. In order to determine the prophylactic effects of pre-infections and systemic effects of post-infection of P.digitatum and B. cinerea on fruits of these fungicides, non-infected fruits were wounded around equatorial regions for approximately 1 mm depth than dipped in fungicides solutions or conidial suspensions including 106 conidia/ml of the pathogens. In accordance with the aim of study, the fruit was treated with fungicides or inoculated with conidial suspensions of the pathogens by spraying, after that they were incubated in plastic containers for 15 days in climated room. After 7 and 15 days, imazalil reduced P. digitatum infection by %90.9, %91.5 systemically and it reduced by %95.3, %95.3 prophylactically, in that time, B. cinerea was reduced by %84.8, %57.9 systemically and by %73.3, %63.4 prophylactically. Besides that, the concentration, 500 ml/100 L water, of thiabendazole and imazalil combination de-creased P. digitatum decay by %97.6-98.9 and B. cinerea decay by %91.5-94.0 respectively. Keywords : Portakal, Penicillium digitatum, Botrytis cinerea, Imazalil, Thiabendazole
