Abstract :In this study, three subsoilers with different legs were used to determine the penetration resistance, porosity, bulk density and the failure patterns within the soil at working depths of 30, 40, 50 cm under fallow land and stubble field conditions. It was concluded that the best penetration resistance was obtained by using Model DPT. The bulk density values in the fallow land conditions were 6.39% more than the stubble conditions. The bulk density values increased while working depth rised. The lowest bulk density values were obtained with the subsoilers with angled legs and Model DPT. Porosity values in the stubble field conditions were found 5.53% more than the fallow land conditions. Porosity values were significant for depth factor. The best porosity values were obtained when Model DPT and the subsoilers with angled legs were used. The biggest failure pattern values were found when Model DPT was used while the failure pattern values increased with working depth. It was also found that the field x depth interactions for failure pattern values were significant. Keywords : dipkazan, bozulma alanı, görüntü işleme, toprak
