Abstract :The research was carried out at the laboratory and Research Greenhouses of Agriculture Faculty of Süleyman Demirel University in 2008 year. The study was conducted with the aim to determination effects of salt applications on germination and seedling growth in Triticale genotypes. The experiment was arranged as randomized plots design with two factors and four replications. Triticale cultivar Karma-2000 and Triticale lines obtained from CIMMYT were used as experimental materials. The study was conducted to observe effects of different salt concentrations (control, EC value: 3.9, 6.1, 8.3, 10.5, 14.9, 19.3, 25.0 dSm-1) on emergence rate depend on time, seedling length, root length, dry weights and protein content of green parts and roots. Response of Triticale cultivars was significantly different to salt concentrations. Emergence rate depend on time, seedling length, root length, dry weights of green parts and roots, protein content of roots and leaves were significant decreased according to control depend on increasing salt concentrations. Keywords : Tritikale, tuza tolerans, çimlenme, fide gelişimi
