Nutrition Status of Cherry Orchards in Taşkent and Hadim Districts of Konya Province

Abstract :The aim of this study is to determine nutrition status and some physical and chemical properties of the soils in the cherry orchards of Taşkent and Hadim Districts attached to Konya Province. For this purpose, the soil and leaf samples were taken from 148 cherry orchards representing the districts in 2009 and 2010 years. Some physical and chemical proper-ties of the soils and macro-micro nutrients such as N, P, K, Ca, Mg, Fe, Zn, Mn, Cu and B contents of the soil and leaf specimens were determined. According to the results, orchards soils were with neutral and slightly alkaline pH, without salt, low organic matter, moderate lime and sandy clay loam, clay loam and clay texture. N, P, K, Fe and Mn were adequate; Ca, Mg and Zn were inadequate in the soil and plant samples.Keywords : Taşkent, Hadim, toprak, kiraz, beslenme
