Abstract :Safflower (Carthamus tinctorius L.) is an important oil plant with its drought resistant. This study observed under the ecological condition of Konya in the vegetation period of 2014 (March-August) in order to determine the yield and yield components of 13 safflower varieties randomized complete blocks design. In this study, Remzibey-05, Black Sun 2, KS 07, Balcı, AC Stirling, Ole, V 50/63, Dinçer, Ayaz, BDYAS-4, Linas, Yenice and TRE-ASO 12/08 were used 13 safflower varieties as safflower samples. At the end of this study, according to the varieties results showed a range of changes in the height of plant 83,33-138,17 cm (KS 07-Yenice); in the number of branch per plant 6.50-10.13 (Dinçer-Yenice); in the number of heads per plant 9.40-22.83 (AC Stirling-Yenice); in the diameter of head 1.90-2.62 cm (TRE-ASO 12/08-Ole); in the height of the first branch 36.17-79.10 cm (Balcı-Yenice); in the number of seeds per head 25.33-56.67 (Ayaz-V 50/63); in the weight of thousand seed 32.77-43.28 g (V 50/63-Ayaz); in the hull ratio 44.24-59.07 % (TRE ASO 12/08-AC Stirling) and in the seed yield 1355.4-3927.1 kg ha-1 (Ole-KS 07). According to the result, KS 07 is chosen as best sample based on the highest seed yield ratio and following this Dinçer and Remzibey. We decided to planting this varieties under the ecological condition of Konya with successfully. Keywords : Aspir, Carthamus tinctorious L., Çeşit, Verim, Verim unsurları
