Abstract :The milk and milk products playing an important role on human nutrition may be hazardous with respect to human health. One of these hazardous contaminants is also heavy metals. In the present study, 8 samples from each product and total 96 samples were analyzed. The ICP-AES instrument was used to determine the levels of heavy metals such as Al, As, Cd, Pb and Se of 12 different milk and milk products. It was concluded that milk and dairy products could be highly hazardous for human health in regard to Pb contentsKeywords : Süt ve süt ürünleri, ağır metal, ICP-AES.
