Examination of Viticultural Structure in Sarkoy District of Tekirdag Province

Abstract :This research is based on the primary data obtained by survey with farmers in order to determine the structure of viticulture in Yayakoy, Yorguc, Mursalli, Cinarli, Gazikoy and Kirazli in Sarkoy district of Tekirdag province. As a result of the research, it was determined that the bond fragments are large in number and larger than 10 decares. The vignerons set up their vineyards on the kind that they wanted to cultivate on the Rootstock. In Şarköy, it was determined that 43% of the vineyards produced table grapes, 27% wine grapes and 30% of the both table grapes and wine grapes. At the same time, Alphonse Lavallee (25%) and Cardinal (22%) varieties were cultivated in high proportion. It has been determined that the yield of table grapes 1500 kg and wine grapes is 1000 kg on average. Sarkoy district forms an important part of the vineyards and grape production of the province of Tekirdag. It was understood that the training to be given for the vignerons for the solution of the vineyard problems and meet their expectations.Keywords : Bağcılık, Şarköy, Tekirdağ, Üzüm
