Abstract :In this study carried out as three replications in a Randomized Complete Block Design in Van-Gevaş ecological envi-ronment in the years 2002 and 2003, it is aimed that the determination of effects of different seed rates (1 kg/da, 1.5 kg/da, 2 kg/da ve 2.5 kg/da) on yield and yield components in Coriander. The characteristics such as plant height, number of branches, number of umbrellas, fruit number in the umbrella, 1000-fruit weight, fruit yield, essential oil rate and essential oil yield have been searched in the study. It has been found out that the highest plant height was obtained in 2.5 kg/da, the highest number of branch and umbrella in 1 kg/da of seed rate application, the highest fruit (129.50 kg/da) and essential oil yield (0.48 kg/da) are obtained from seed rate of 2 kg/da.Keywords : Kişniş, tohumluk miktarı, verim, uçucu yağ oranı
