Abstract :This research was carried out to determine karyotypes of the nine pea lines consisting of four parental lines and five hy-brid progenies at F7 generation. Chromosome numbers, lengths, branch indices, relative lengths and chromosome types were determined. The chromosome numbers of all the pea lines were 2n=14. Chromosome lengths were between 2.80 m-4.95 m while branch indices and relative length were between 0.51-0.84 and 5.47-9.37, respectively. Types of chromosomes have been found to be metacentric and submetacentric. Not only satellites were found on all the lines examined, but also a pair of chro-mosomes with satellite on four hybrid and two parental lines. In addition, two pairs of chromosomes with satellite in one hybrid line and two parental lines were observed. The chromosome lengths of hybrid progenies were generally longer than the chromosomes lengths of parental lines. Keywords : Bezelye, karyotip analizi, kromozon, satelit
