Abstract :The aim of this study is to determine nutrition status in terms of macro nutrition elements in the apple orchards of Kara-man province, where the apple production is very high. In the research, in 13 orchards, which are bigger than 20 da, the soil samples were taken from 0-30, 30-60 and 60-90 cm soil depths of bottoms of 26 trees, the leaf and fruit specimens were col-lected from same trees and were analyzed. According to the results, soil pH values ranged from 7.5 to 8.1, mean soil salty (221 µmhos/cm) was low, mean lime con-tent was 38 % and mean organic matter content was 1.6 %. On the other hand, soil texture class ranged from clay to sandy loam. The mean N, P, K, Ca and Mg contents of soil samples were 1000, 44.7, 458.3, 3796 and 354.2 ppm, respectively. In the leaf samples, N, P, K, Ca, Mg and S were analysed and in the 30.7 % of samples N, in the 11.5 % of samples P, in the 15.4 % of samples K, in the 96 % of samples Ca and in the 100 % of samples S deficiencies were determined. In addition, as a mean of fruit samples weight 147 g, diameter 69.3 mm, dry matter 12.7 %, peel penetration resistance 64.7 kPa, pulp penetration re-sistance 656.2 kPa, total acidity 0.3 % and C vitamin content 5.8 mg/100 g, were determined. On the other hand, the significant positive and negative correlations were evaluated between the soil samples analysis results and the leaf and fruit samples analysis results. Keywords : Karaman, elma, makro besin elementleri.
