Abstract :Purpose - The purpose of this paper is to examine EVA method and to reveal the perspectives of the managers in project-based sectors regarding project management issues and EVA method. Methodology - Primary data were used in this study. Data was collected through an online survey from 456 participants who manage projects in the business world. Findings- A significant difference was found between two groups as those who use EVA and those who do not, in terms of the performance criteria of reaching the milestones of the projects on time and completing the projects on time. Conclusion- In this study, it was seen that EVA offers significant opportunities for project-oriented businesses. However, the fact that the EVA method does not consider the risks and uncertainties is the most serious problem.
