Abstract :Bibliometric analysis is a method used to investigate and analyze large amounts of data. This study presents a bibliometric analysis of the academic literature in the field of wellness tourism. The aim of the study is to examine the literature on wellness tourism between 2013 and 2023 and determine the current state by analyzing new trends in research and the distribution of publications. The subject was searched in the Web of Science (WoS) database. In the research, only articles and reviews indexed in SSCI and SCI-Expanded were considered. A total of 2082 studies were found in the initial search, and when research constraints were applied, 1017 studies were examined in the R-Studio program. The number of sources is 242. According to the research results, the most cited authors are Uysal, Sirgy, and Kim. The top three authors with the most publications on the subject in SSCI and SCI-Expanded journals are Han, H., Uysal M., and Chen, C.C. Studies in this field have experienced a turning point as of 2021 during the pandemic. New trends and common networks have also emerged in keywords. The growth rate of studies in this field is 19.41%. The countries with the highest number of studies on this topic are China, the United States, and Australia.
