Abstract :Multitudinous studies conducted on organizational commitment and work values have emphasized a great significance of these concepts. In recent years considerable attention has also been accentuated on religiosity and its influence. This study tested the impact of religiosity on organizational commitment through work values. Data were collected from 261 participants employed in various companies located in Istanbul, Turkey. The findings extend current theories of the role of religion in working environment by examining the possible influence on work values. Positive correlation between religiosity and work values was established. Contrary to the hypotheses suggested, work values failed to correlate with affective and normative commitment, while supporting a positive relationship with continuance commitment. Keywords : Religiosity, Work Values, Organizational Commitment, Intrinsic Religiosty, Extrinsic Religiosty
