Abstract :International system can be defined as a complex system of systems that is comprised of economic, political, scientific, technological and military systems. It is hard to analyze this complex system. It is even harder to forecast its future. Nonetheless, there are factors such as the defense industry and military power that affect the dynamics of the international system much more than other factors. After the Revolution in Military Affairs, which transformed the military paradigm, significance of these factors for international relations increased. In this study, interdependence of international relations, military technology, military power and defense industry was investigated. It was found that the global defense industrial order is a good indicator of balance of power in the international system. Scenarios about the future of the international system were built by the help of scenarios about the future of the global defense industrial order.Keywords : International Relations, Defense Industry, Balance of Power, Military Power
