Abstract :Structure is the perceived anatomy of an organization. The organizational structure, which consists of a logical pattern of tasks in the organization, is an element that directly affects organizational performance. In this sense, organizational structure is critical for all organizations. The structure in schools is of great importance for realizing educational, organizational and managerial goals. For this reason, the structure of educational organizations is frequently the subject of research. In this study, it is aimed to reveal the concept of structure in schools. For this purpose, first of all, organizing forms and Weber\'s rational bureaucracy model, which forms the basis of the organizational structure, were examined. Then, Burns and Stalker\'s classification of mechanical and organic organization and Minztberg\'s structure models are mentioned. Finally, the structure of the Turkish Education System was examined according to Mintzberg\'s structure models. It is concluded that Ministry of National Education is a mixture of machine bureaucracy and professional bureaucracy.Keywords : Okul, Yapı, Milli Eğitim Bakanlığı, Mintzberg
