Abstract :Vocational School (VS) students constitute the qualified technician manpower needed in many fields of businesses. For this reason, the importance of institutionalization and performance within the scope of quality in businesses should be adequately perceived by these students. The aim of this study is to examine the quality of production businesses in VS students in terms of institutionalization and performance perception. In the study, 451 students enrolled in the programs that train students for the production sector in the VS of Technical Sciences of a state university in the 2022-2023 academic year were included. Perception of Institutionalization Scale (PIS) and Perception of Performance Scale (PPS) developed by Kırklıkçı and Gedik (2021) were used as data collection tools. Significant differences were determined in the mean scores of PIS and PPS in those who had a positive attitude towards the profession during their education and those with good academic achievement (p<.05). The total PIS score average of the Computer Programming students (4.22) and the PPS total (4.19) score average of the students in the Production Quality Control Program were found higher than the students in other programs. As a result, it is recommended to provide experience opportunities such as practice, internship, etc., especially in corporate businesses, in order to make students understand the importance of quality studies. Keywords : Meslek Yüksekokulu, Öğrenci, Kurumsallaşma Algısı, Performans Algısı, Üretim İşletmeleri, Vocational school, student, perception of institutionalization, perception of performance, production businesses
